About the role
In this role you will be working in the financial services team to coordinating compliance reporting and assisting with statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• To provide integrity of the general ledger structure and control of organisations operating statement, cash flow, equity and balance sheet.
• Provide support to creating accounting segments and mapping of these within the Oracle Financial system.
• Ensure sub-ledger system (Pathway, IPS,WSM) are accurately included in Oracle general ledger and reconciliation completed.
• Responsible for the completion of compliance reporting (Tax Reports, ABS, GST, FBT), completion of accounting treatment position papers and the completion of statutory reports.
• Control and escalation of outstanding balance sheet accounts and to ensure variances are resolved and accounted for correctly.
• Support and facilitate external and internal audit processes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in a commerce, accounting or finance discipline
• Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant Membership
• Sound understanding of financial software systems and proficient in the use of financial systems (e.g., Oracle On Premise or Fusion).
• Proven experience in medium to large financial systems, reporting and reconciliations.
• Able to demonstrate a comprehensive accounting knowledge and current compliance and statutory reporting obligations.
