About the role
In this 12 month role you will be based in the City’s Policy & Workplace Relations team, rotating to other Strategy People & Performance teams throughout your employment, based on the needs of the organisation. You will support Strategy, People & Performance initiatives & projects and will contribute to the efficient and effective management of workplace relations at the City.

• Assist with workplace and industrial relations matters (drafting of formal correspondence, coordinating meetings, minute taking, and document management)
• Assist with HR Benchmarking activities
• Collate data and draft monthly HR reports
• Assist with HR projects
• Assist with organisational consultative forums
• Provide a high level of customer service support to internal and external customers.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have some general administration experience and the confidence/ability to engage with a diverse range of people from across the organisation. You will be flexible in your approach to work, be creative in your thinking, calm under pressure and enjoy problem solving.

• Ability to quickly adapt to a new working environment and make an immediate contribution.
• Good analytical, investigative, interpretative and problem solving skills.
• High level skills in MS Office and the ability to develop effective presentations
• Graduate level Bachelor Human Resources
