About the role
We are excited to share we are increasing our Early Childhood teams across Certificate III and Diploma Early Childhood Educators and Bachelor Early Childhood Teaching positions.
The positions assists educators / teachers who are leave, with continuity of their educational program while they are absent – supporting the whole team with the implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate educational programs that reflect children’s needs and meet the requirements of the City of Greater Geelong, State Regulations and Commonwealth Government Guidelines, including the Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the National Quality Standards.
As an Early Childhood Educator / Teacher you will be responsible for encouraging and guiding our youngest community members through their early life. You will have the opportunity to work alongside families to ensure their children are challenged, nurtured and supported in their early years, through the provision of stimulating and safe environments and individual and group-based programming.
Depending on your preferred position, a Bachelor Teacher, a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator or a Certificate III educator will be expected to contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate educational programs that reflect the children’s needs. You may be called to work in our Long Day Care educational programs or our Kindergarten programs for three and four year old’s.
All qualified ECE professionals are required to adhere to the City of Greater Geelong and State Regulations, including the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, the National Quality Standard and our professions Code of Ethics.
