Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction, this position assists in the planning, development and implementation of engineering programs and capital improvement projects. Work includes planning, design, project delivery, and construction management and inspection work to ensure conformance with City Ordinances and Regulations, in support of municipal structures, facilities, processes, equipment and systems. The role of the Assistant City Engineer is to help facilitate economic growth and constructive change in the public’s best interest, and to provide superior and fiscally responsible services that enhance the quality of life and safety of the Citizens in our community. The Assistant City Engineer will serve as the City Engineer in his or her absence.
