About the Team

Our Engineering Strategy & Assets Portfolio deliver and manage civil infrastructure and transport planning services across our City, as well as delivering capital works programs and managing our vital roads, public lighting and water assets.

About the Job

Each year, the City of Charles Sturt provides a paid placement for a third year Civil Engineering student to work within our Engineering Strategy and Assets portfolio for up to 12 weeks during the summer break.

As part of this placement, you will undertake work in the areas of Asset Management, Project Planning or Engineering Design, with guidance and mentorship provided by our team.

About You

• Currently undertaking a Civil Engineering degree program – Civil, Structural, or Transport Engineering
• You are currently in the third year of your degree

This position is offered on a fixed-term, full-time basis for an approximate period of 12 weeks during the summer break, and is classified at Level 2, with a salary of $64,649 per annum + Super.
