The City of Canada Bay Children’s Services provides quality Long Day Care and education to children and families from two conveniently located sites. Wellbank Children’s Centre is located on Flavelle Street Concord, and Victoria Avenue Children’s Centre, located on Victoria Avenue Concord West.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Educators to assist with the delivery of high-quality children’s services.

Temporary full time Contract: Diploma role:

• $67,301.18 to $77,396.36 plus superannuation

• Contract is until Jan 2023, with possibility of extension

• In the 0-2 age group

• One RDO every fortnight

Temporary Part time Contract: Certificate 3 role

• $59,504.44 to $68,430.11 plus superannuation (pro rate based on full time hours)

Contract until December, with high possibility of one year extension

• Over 5 days, hours are 10:45-5:45

• Ratio support and lunch cover role

Inclusion support Part time contract: Certificate 3 x 2 roles (pro rate based on full time hours)

• $59,504.44 to $68,430.11 plus superannuation

• 5 days per week, working 5 hours; 2 days per week, working 5 hours (possible extension to 5 days)

• Support the educators in the care environment with all children including inclusion support funded children

Permanent Part time: Certificate 3 (pro rate based on full time hours)

• $59,504.44 to $68,430.11 plus superannuation

5 days per week x 3 hours each day

• ratio support in the afternoon

• Successful candidate may have more than one role at the Centre e.g. this 3 hour role and inclusion support role.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be required to assist children participating in the programs and contribute to assessing each child’s learning and development. In this role you will contribute to ensure that each child’s current knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities, and interests are being met.

The successful applicant will have a qualifications as per the attached position descriptions, experience working with children 0-5 years, and previous experience assisting with education programs for children.

The Centres operate between 7:30am-6:00pm and staff will be required to work rotating shifts within the spread of 7:15am and 6:00pm.
