What’s the Gig?

As our IT Digital Platforms Lead, you’ll be the maestro of all things digital, orchestrating a symphony of innovation and efficiency. Your mission (should you choose to accept it) includes:

  • Leading a team to maintain an efficient, effective, and secure ICT environment that meets the expectations of our stakeholders and supports our City’s digital objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap, managing the product backlog, and ensuring timely and efficient development of product features.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create seamless, user-friendly digital experiences and continuously improving the product development process.
  • Driving the City’s use of ICT into the cloud, and implementing digital transformation initiatives like automation, AI, and data analytics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: You’ve been around the digital block a few times with 5+ years in IT and digital platform management. Local government experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in digital platforms, cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and project management. A knack for problem-solving and a love for all things tech.
  • Attitude: Innovative, proactive, and ready to take the digital world by storm.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Extras: Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills
