City Lit Hiring for Ukrainian Tutor – Initial 3 Month FTC Job at London, England Full Time

£35.78 per hour inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time.

Are you an experienced and dynamic Ukrainian language Tutor? Then join us to plan, teach and evaluate our new Ukrainian beginner’s course starting in October 2022, where you will inspire students, and enrich lives through learning.

City Lit are London’s largest provider of learning for adults, inspiring over 30,000 students a year and offering more than 5,000 courses, online and face-to-face. As a leader in our field, we have a century’s reputation for delivering the highest quality student experience.

You’ll be a key contributor to our growing Languages department, where we offer a wide range of courses across all levels. You will teach in a creative and flexible way inspiring learners to achieve and put their languages skills into practice.

We welcome applications from tutors with experience of teaching at a range of levels, particularly those with availability for the following:

• Ukrainian beginners: an introduction, 8 weeks, 1.5 hour per week starting week of 17th October 2022. In person and/or online delivery.

Please submit your CV and a covering letter, detailing your skills and experience. You will particularly attract our interest if this covers:

• Advanced level Ukrainian, with the ability to converse at native speaker level
• Experience of teaching Ukrainian to adults learners
• A relevant teaching qualification and/or equivalent experience
• Up to date knowledge, enthusiasm, and interest for the subject
• The ability to create a vibrant and dynamic learning environment to enable students to achieve both inside and outside the classroom.
• Experience of teaching online would be desirable although not essential
