City Lending Inc Hiring for Mortgage Recruiter Job at Remote Full Time

City Lending Inc, a direct mortgage lender headquartered in the DC metro area is seeking an experienced Mortgage Sales Recruiter to join the team. In this position, the Recruiter plays an important role in related activities regarding the company’s retail and corporate function. The Mortgage Sales Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and placing candidates for Self-Originating Loan officers, Sales Manager, Branch Manager as well as networking and developing relationships with real estate agents, financial planners, builders and any other referral source.

Essential Functions

· Assist executive management in developing an overall recruiting strategy for the assigned region

· Develop and maintain a business network to source qualified candidates for the positions of Self-Originating Loan officers, Sales Manager, and/or Branch Manager and other corporate positions

· With the prior approval of executive management, work with Human Resources and Supervisor to develop offer letters and compensation agreements.

· Interview and screen applicants for open positions within the company

· Stay actively involved in the growth and expansion of the regional efforts which may or may not include social media, marketing, and branding campaigns related to recruitment and business development efforts

· Network with referral partners on an on-going basis

· Attend industry events as they relate to recruitment or networking with referral partners

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience

· Strong knowledge of mortgage business, including overall mortgage lending operational functions

· Five or more years of experience as a recruiter (mortgage industry is a must)

· Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized

· Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness

· Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service

· Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers

· Strong recruitment skills pertaining to sourcing, screening, offer extending

· Direct passive searches utilizing Boolean searches, cold call, networking techniques

· Ethical, with a commitment to company values

Education

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry work experience
