Accounts Payable / Finance Accountant
Perform duties to manage all payment cycle activities of accounts payable and track and record financial information into the general ledger, assist to prepare balance sheets, audit general accounting functions, monitor cash flow, and perform general financial accounting functions.. Support accounts receivable, and other accounting functions.

Manage all payment cycle activities of accounts payable to include verifying, reconciling, and process invoices and paying vendors per payment schedule. Maintain historical records through document storage processes. Respond to vendor enquiries regarding payables.

Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports a required.

Back up cash flow information update on worksheet. Update corresponding financial reports to transmit to upper management.

Responsible for budget variance monitoring for all G & A cost centers. Provide support for managers on budget variance questions.

Reconcile bank accounts and asset and liability accounts to general ledger.

Prepare monthly journal entries, analyze general ledger accounts and identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and review trial balance for accuracy reasonableness.

Monitor CIP accounts. Generate monthly reports and transferring to fixed assets when complete. Maintain accounting software for fixed asset tax reporting.

Back up futures transactions and reporting as needed.

Back up cash flow information update on worksheet. Update corresponding financial reports to transmit to upper management.

Assist with inventory accounting function.

• Financial Accounting Degree or Comparable Work Experience. At least 5 years general accounting or finance experience required. 3 yrs Accounts Payable experience required.
• Computer experience in Microsoft Word, advanced Excel, and Outlook required. Training on SAP application preferred, but not required.
• Citrus background preferred.
• Ability to work indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to function at desk/computer station for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or move file boxes up to 20 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
