In this critical role the Talent Acquisition Specialist will develop a collaborative partnership with business leaders and hiring managers to develop full cycle recruitment strategies to attract and recruit top talent.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : *Manages all phases of the recruiting process to meet the organizational needs including sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates.
Assist in developing talent acquisition strategies and approaches in partnership with business leaders.Manages communication and relationships with candidates, business leaders and hiring managers throughout the recruitment to hire stage.
Manages offer process to include salary recommendations, offer letter generation and offer acceptance / declines, in addition to all negotiations partnering with relevant business and HR partners.
Collaborates with business partners and others on the Talent Acquisition team on a variety of HR initiatives and programs.
Manages requisition and candidate process flow and relevant information in the Applicant Tracking System while maintaining data integrity.
Maintains current knowledge of business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements.*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES : *Interviewing TechniquesApplicant Tracking SystemsWeb based talent assessment toolsHuman Resources Principles & ProceduresState and Federal Employment LawsSourcing Strategies and Candidate AssessmentProficiency with job boards and Social MediaSkills & Abilities : What an incumbent must be able to do to perform the job (required)Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while delivering exceptional serviceStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to negotiate and influenceAbility to work independently and in a teamAbility to build strong relationshipsAbility to maintain confidential informationDetail oriented and demonstrate initiativeAbility to problem solveAbility to think independently and make good business decisionsAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment*REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : 3 or more years of talent acquisition experience (5 or more years required at Partner level)* Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years relevant experience, OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 4 years*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Experience with sourcing and hiring of IT professionals* 4 or more years of recruiting experience (7 or more years required at Partner level)* SHRM-CP or SHRM-SC* Talent Acquisition certifications* Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry* Corporate talent acquisition experience* Experience with Taleo*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : *This position requires the ability to sit, hear, converse over the telephone and key frequently on a computer for long periods of time (4 or more hours per day).
