Citizens of Maine, LLC Hiring for Training Coordinator at Hampden, ME Full Time

Job Summary:

General oversight of all associate training, to include new associates and ongoing training for seasoned associates. The Training Coordinator develops, maintains, and revises all training programs, powerpoint presentations, training tests, and similar for all service areas of the company. Improves upon, maintains, and develops (as needed) a record of trainings, and tracks when renewals must occur.

This position requires a working relationship with training resources to include DHHS, State of Maine, CRMA trainers, other agency trainers, online training, and more.

The Training Coordinator will be certified to teach, at a minimum, First Aid/CPR/AED, Injectable training, College of Direct Support live classes, On the Job training for all direct support positions, Reportable Events, Workplace Violence, Sexual Harrassment, Behavior Regulations, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Vehicle Training.

Education and qualifications:

• Possess working knowledge of the minimum requirements of MaineCare waiver funded programs for Sections 20, 21, and 29
• minimum of 10 years working directly with adults with developmental differences
• minimum of 4 years in a role that requires training/teaching others
• trained in Active Listening
• ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
• time management skills
• trained in Reportable Events reporting
• experience with advocacy
• knowledge of Developmental Disabilities Rights
• experience and high level of understanding how to research and access resources for development and problem solving
• Certification as a trainer for First Aid/CPR
• DSP Certified.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
