About the Role
Role Purpose
To provide a full finance administration support service to the Finance and HR Department of Citizens Advice Liverpool working closely with the Finance and HR Manager. To ensure that accurate and timely financial information is recorded and processed using the Quickbooks accounts system. To assist in the provision of the organisation’s financial management service to ensure Citizens Advice Liverpool operates effectively and is compliant with all legal and sector requirements.
Requirements
Essential
1. The ability to commit to, and work within, the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice Liverpool.
2. Recent and ongoing experience of office administration with experience of meeting deadlines and setting priorities
3. High levels of literacy and numeracy and an interest in developing a role in finance/accountancy.
4. Experience of using QuickBooks or similar accounting/book-keeping package and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
5. Ability to input large amounts of data in an accurate and timely fashion
6. Self-reliant, able to problem solve independently and prioritise workload
7. Strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles.
Desirable
8. Recognised qualification in book-keeping/accountancy, or working towards same
9. Experience of working in a finance office in a charity or similar organisation.
