SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Representativereports to Director of Human Resources and is responsible for analyzing staffing needs and developing cost-effective recruitment strategies (which may include posting jobs on career sites, placing print ads, searching the internet, cold-calling and attending career fairs).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Others duties may be assigned.
· Identify qualified candidates that reflect Citi Trends values and meets its job requirements as a result of the interview process.
· In-depth knowledge of direction candidate generation for a major, established retailer.
· Responsible for new store openings, which could include on-site job fairs, pre-location networking and recruitment of all new store teams.
· Identify networking and job posting options available for the local market.
· Conducts thorough pre-screening to ensure candidates are viable to Citi Trends standards.
· Keeps accurate records of candidate activity.
· Maintains Open Position Report.
· Coordinates interviews with hiring managers including routing schedules and resumes, and gathering interview feedback.
· Maintains positive business relationships with Regional & District Management Teams.
· Attends regional & district meetings as required.
· Sets appropriate strategy for building a pool of candidates.
· Responsible for management satisfaction, and timely, quality results.
· Represents the company with honesty, integrity, enthusiasm and knowledge.
· Provides the highest level of recruiting service through frequent written and/or in-person updates, frequent verbal correspondence and regular reports.

· Provides support and training to field management teams on how to effectively source, screen, interview, select and retain individuals within their markets.
· Ability to deal with rapidly changing organization and manage the impact of change on the organization, its culture and associates.
· Ability to work independently.
· Ability to travel up to 50%.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate’s degree, high school diploma/GED, and administrative or secretarial experience/training considered.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand documents such as general correspondence, department reports and office procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and fellow associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
