The incumbent will work closely with the head of HR for the Europe Cluster to ensure the right governance is in place, organize the roll out of global and regional initiatives throughout the European Countries, design and maintain performance, risk and control and other metrics.
Most frequent points of interaction in addition to business contacts are: HRAs, COEs including Graduate Recruiting, Lateral Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Diversity, Compensation, CHROs, Workers Council(s)/Unions, HR Professional services and HR Shared Services.

In the EMEA Project Management Office , you will provide support for a wide range of change initiatives. Primary responsibilities will be to support the implementation of various projects working with the Program Manager & various project managers within HRSS and HR, ensuring deadlines and issues are managed. This includes coordinating requirements, coordinating meetings & workshops with senior management, tracking risks & issues with appropriate escalation, managing a high volume of business analysis including data management, data analysis & data conversion, senior management reporting, tracking project status and also supporting the program’s communications plan. This role is expected to manage variousprojects involving various functions within HR , and will involve business/internal negotiations, stakeholder management, continuous improvement/reengineering opportunity identification, systems enhancements, and strategy execution, including ownership/coverage of work migrations. The role will develop strong business cases with cost/benefit analysis for projects, and manage all of its phases from initiation, planning, execution, implementation and closure. The role is expected to work and develop relationships with multiple stakeholders and functional teams at the same time. Financial analysis, understanding of process and change management will be critical for this role
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager’s primary role is to provide project/program governance, process improvement infrastructure, and overall workstream oversight to any process or project initiative within Europe Human Resources by partnering closely with the head of HR for Europe (based in Switzerland)
This role provides functional project management expertise and a working knowledge of Human Resources, working cohesively with a multitude of senior sponsors, business counterparts, process stakeholders and subject matter experts. This role reports directly to the EMEA Project Management Office Head with a matrix line into the head of HR for Europe and is accountable for delivering programs/projects in relation to regional-wide initiatives or global projects that impact Europe
Senior Program and Project Manager for initiatives that may be local, regional, or cross-regional, in nature
Manage projects and initiatives in alignment with the defined framework and methodology (including Program/Project Governance and Intake).Ensure successful project completion through utilization of appropriate project management techniques as aligned with PMO standards and framework.
Manage project team resources, ensuring appropriate allocation to initiatives and engaging with key stakeholders to align on approach and priorities
Monitor, escalate and remediate any risks associated with projects and ensure that preventive actions are installed in order to decrease the probability of future recurrence
Work closely with in-region and global resources and stakeholders for data gathering, analysis, and discovery.
Support financial targets for the HR Europe organization by ensuring that key programs and projects are delivered on time
Support the head of HR for Europe in defining and implementing the right governance for the HR team based in Europe including assigning topics and speakers for the different communication/educational forums
Knowledge/Experience:
Project management and business process improvement work experience with proven track record in achieving overall goals within the specified project parameters
Prior knowledge of HR will be an advantage
Financial analysis and modeling experience
Experience working on regional projects and regional teams
University/College degree graduate
Any European language skills would be an advantage
Proven track record of delivery in a complex professional services organization – preferably in a HR discipline
Qualification and/or certification in project management & process improvement methodology (Ex. PMP, Lean or Six Sigma) is preferred
MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook)
