Role Overview
The HR Intermediate Business Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of systemic processes and workflows for Core HR-owned systems and processes. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to stakeholders within HR and HR Shared Services. Works in partnership with technical stakeholders and other HR taxonomy GPO teams. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.
Responsibilities
Acts as SME to business partners, HR and HRSS stakeholders and/or other team members.
Liaises between regional HR/HRSS stakeholders and technical partners to collect and evaluate change requirements, develop functional documentation and participate in the change management process in support of Workday and other HR system release processes.
Research and provide recommendations on new technologies and services that enhance the employee/user experience.
Create and maintain process documentation and support the streamlining of operational processes including Workday best practices
Drive management for closure of control gaps identified by risk assessment process regionally
Regularly communicate and escalate to the senior leaders on gaps and progress on gaps/action items closure related to internal Risk Assessment findings
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications
Experience with Workday and other HR systems/tools
Functional HR Administration experience and/or HR process design experience a plus
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Is flexible and comfortable moving between competing priorities and projects
Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.
Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
