What You’ll Do

You will build direct relationships with customers, will work closely with and utilize the selected channel partners to maximize new sales opportunities and renewals within your territory. You will manage all aspects of sales while using cutting-edge technologies to remotely collaborate with customers and employ new sales models (cloud, services & software) to help customers maximizing their revenue.

• You will evangelize the Cisco Data Center portfolio to Cisco’s customers to help make their businesses run smarter and safer
• You will be immersed in our Data Center offerings and serve as an SME in this architecture among your peers
• You will accurately forecast your monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams; driving growth
• You’ll be responsible for driving new business as well as fostering your account base

Who You Are

If you enjoy selling in a changing environment, are goal motivated and believe in performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strong collaboration with partners and internal stakeholders, we have a place for you.

• You have 4-6 years’ B2B selling experience in the IT or similar industry
• You exude a love for IT and a strong technical aptitude
• You have sold or can speak knowledgeably about cybersecurity products
• You have a history of career progression and desire for professional development
• You’ve got experience owning the full sales cycle (prospecting, customer demos, negotiating and closing the sale).
• Highly motivated with a “hunting spirit” to develop new opportunities and grow business
• You are able to demonstrate strong sales achievement ie. consistent achievement at or above quota, or a history YoY growth in your target market.
• You are passionate about sales and building positive relationships.
• You possess strong business acumen and can effectively value proposition to Cisco’s mid-market.
• You have phenomenal communication/presentation skills.

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
