At Cirrus Asset Management, Inc., the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing the recruitment process. Being the first point of contact for incoming associates, you will have the opportunity to create an engaging and welcoming environment that sets the tone for the potential associate’s career with Cirrus. Essential Duties:
· Update recruiting procedures or create new procedures
· Identify the hiring needs by meeting with the supervisor of the potential associate
· Evaluate and update job descriptions and job posting materials as needed
· Devise recruitment strategy
· Develop a social media plan to raise awareness of the Cirrus Brand
· Find and attract qualified applicants for future positions
· Review resumes, focusing on skills matching the needs of the positions and organization
· Pre-Screen resumes and present top candidates to the hiring manager for review
· Coordinate interviews for hiring managers as requested
· Follow-up with hiring manager to ensure interview timelines are met is being met
· Conduct phone, virtual and in-person interviews
· Search for and implement new sourcing methods to find job candidates
· Evaluate and suggest the best applicant tracking software for the organization
· Suggest ways to improve the employer’s brand for the external audience
· Research the best job advertising techniques
· Practice and maintain proper interviewing methods
· Host career events and job fairs
· Maintain applicant database; develop reports to present to senior leadership
· Perform competitive analysis on salaries for each position in multiple regions and update monthly
· Develop and track KPIs for open positions and time to fill as well as longevity of existing positions
· Conduct confidential 90-day interviews with new Cirrus team members
· Create, distribute, and analyze a recruiting satisfaction survey given to hiring managers
What we are looking for:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in human resources or related discipline. At least one to two years of human resources experience with a focus on recruiting for a minimum of 1 year or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum 1-year experience in the multifamily (apartment) property management industry.
· HR Certification – Recruiting (preferred)
· Understanding of fair housing laws (or passing the FH test within 30 days from hire date)
· Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
· Comfortable with all social media platforms and job boards
· Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
· Creativity, confidence, and willingness to take on projects
· Spanish-speaking a plus
