Accounting Manager

Full Time Accounting Manager position is responsible for the management of daily fiscal operations and oversight. As a senior member of Finance department at Circare, the Accounting Manager works closely and collaboratively with executive leadership, department heads, direct service, and support staff to achieve agency goals. In addition, the Accounting Manager is responsible for reporting and building relationships with funding sources.

Major Responsibilities:

• Payroll and Year end processing
• Monthly Financial statement preparation
• Year End Fiscal Audit preparation and participation
• Daily Treasury duties
• Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Annual CFR Reporting
• Report writing, data management, record keeping, compliance

Knowledge, Skills, Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven knowledge of GAAP
• Best Practices for Internal Controls
• Banking
• Payroll & Taxes
• Advanced Excel, F9, MAS90
• Budgeting
• Government reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting
• 5-7* years’ experience in financial reporting
• *Masters may be substituted for two years of work experience
