CIPA Lumber is Looking For Production Worker at Delta, BC Full Time

We are looking for hard-working, motivated and energetic individuals to join our unionized mill production team. Successful candidates must be available to work day shift, afternoon shift or graveyard shift and be capable of performing physical work. New immigrants with the ability to communicate in English are welcome.

Responsibilities:

– Day to day running of production line machinery.

– Follow company work instructions and Health and Safety Standards

– Responsible for productivity and quality control for assigned production process

– Ensure accuracy of all production data including; dates, labels, and packaging

– Effective running of all relevant equipment, ing any equipment defects to the appropriate supervisor

– Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area

– Suggest ideas to continuously improve productivity and efficiencies

– Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

– Must be able to understand and communicate in the English language (both reading and verbal)

– Must understand, adhere to and practice company work, safety, and other work policies

– Must be able to work in co-operation with others

– Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy of work assignments
