Position Description

The Healthcare IT Director s to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) with accountability for providing strategy, judgment, organization, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions and meet CINQCARE requirements. Job Responsibilities

The Healthcare IT Director will have the following responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Healthcare Applications Management: Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of digital front door solutions, CDSS, EMR, population health management tools, and Medicare risk management systems.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with our healthcare organization’s goals and objectives.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with healthcare IT vendors, ensuring service levels and contractual obligations are met.
• Data Security and Compliance: Ensure the organization’s healthcare IT systems comply with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain data security and privacy.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of healthcare IT systems and initiatives.

General Duties

The Healthcare IT Director will have the following duties:

• Leadership: The Healthcare IT Director will lead in defining and executing strategies and solutions to create business value in IT, including building a team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.

• Knowledge: The Healthcare IT Director will provide subject matter expertise in the IT solutions, including determining and recommended approaches for IT, solution deployment and performance evaluation.
• Culture: The Healthcare IT Director is accountable for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment for the IT team and as part of the larger Company.

Qualifications

The Healthcare IT Director should have the following qualifications:

• : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a strong background in digital front door solutions, CDSS, EMR, population health, Medicare risk management, and value-based care.
• Entrepreneurial: Proven experience in IT leadership roles, with a track record of successful project management and team management.
• Communication: In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance, including HIPAA. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly articulate and present concepts and models in an accessible manner to CINQCARE’s team, investors, partners, and other stakeholders. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Relationships: Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with business leaders and external constituents; and Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
