Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Hiring for Director of Student Life at Ohio Full Time

Employment Status: Full Time, Exempt

Reports to: Upper School Principal 7-12

Start Date: August 2022

Work Schedule: 11 Month Position, Off the Month of July, Follows the School Calendar

Job Summary: In collaboration with the Upper School Principal, the Student Life Director will oversee various aspects of CHCA student life, including student leadership, spiritual climate, social culture, and community. The Director will work closely with the CHCA Upper School Administration, Chaplain, Admissions Department, Athletics Department, Director of Diversity and Belonging, and Director of Student Organized Service.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and facilitate a variety of cutting-edge, dynamic student life programs that promote CHCA’s culture and the Upper School’s vision to prepare the students in grades 9-12 to impact the world as Christian leaders

Expected to have an active presence at CHCA events.Student Life events are held during the school day and sometimes in the evening or weekends

Organize and direct student government, student socials, other student leadership initiatives

Assimilate new students into the CHCA community during freshmen orientation and assist to develop other connection points for new students

Manage all club leaders. Develop and launch new programming related to enhancing the overall student experience

Lead homeroom competitions, assemblies, and other events promoting school spirit

Qualifications:
Must have a strategic mindset and excellent organizational skills

Must be highly relational and passionate about building strong connections with teenagers

Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic

Excellent and proven program and operations management skills

Experience organizing and running youth or community events

Availability on nights and weekends to attend events

Able to integrate faith and learning into activities and subject material

Comfortable in a multi-denominational, Christian community
