Position Summary

CIMCO is looking to recruit qualified full-time Ontario Class A or B Refrigeration Operators as well 1st, 2nd or 3rd Class Engineers in a site in Brockville, Ontario.

Job details:
Location: Brockville, Ontario.

Reports to: Branch Service Manager

Shifts: 8 hour rotating shifts.

Uniform and required PPE: company provided

Role Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operation of a state of the art cold & dry storage distribution center
• Operate ammonia refrigeration systems as outlined in the TSSA regulations
• Conduct facility inspections on a regular basis
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Co-ordination and execution of facility maintenance tasking to include auxillary power generator, dock levelers, fire systems and related equipment

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and valid Refrigeration Operator Class A or B, as well 1st, 2nd or 3rd Class Engineers
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/cold storage facility
• Experience with mine sites is an asset
• Competent computer and administration skills
• Valid working at heights, WHMIS, Ariel platform certifications an asset, training provided as needed
• Strong leadership skills, ability to work within a team
• Site testing requirements: annual drug and alcohol testing
