Incumbent will be a member of the Payer Solutions Operations customer service team; responsible for responding to customers and providers related to products we service. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining call center statistics including Average Speed of Answer, After Call Work and Schedule Adherence. Incumbent will handle precertification calls from HealthCare Professionals and Third Party Administrator clients as well as assist customers with provider verification.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handles incoming calls for precertification and status of providers in our network.
Responsible for appropriate documentation of precertification calls.
Responsible for handling incoming fax and mail inquiries for precertification or provider status.
Handles web request and emails as required from internal and external contacts.
Maintain appropriate audit results and call protocols to deliver service expectations to customers.
Maintain appropriate phone states, quality of service and call protocols to deliver service expectations to customers.
KNOWLEDGE:
2 TO 3 years experience in service operations environment, preferably call center environment.
Knowledge of Medical Coding and Billing.
Articulate, service oriented and accurate documentation process skills.
Analytical, attention to detail and quality oriented.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of MS applications.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 – 22 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
