We are ideally looking for someone with Private Corporate and LLC Controller experience with over 800 employees. Experience in the tertiary education sector is highly sought for this role.
This full-time opportunity will be based in our corporate headquarters in Holly Springs, North Carolina
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinating and assisting with the activities of the corporate finance department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets
• Regularly and systematically communicate with CFO, Leadership, and departmental team
• Analyze current processes and procedures department-wide to determine, define, and implement best practices for efficiency
• Lead Facilities and Purchasing personnel and negotiate leases and vendor contracts as applicable
• Responding to CFO, business unit leaders and department managers with accurate and timely reporting and statuses
• Participating in a wide variety of special projects and compiling a variety of special reports
• Conforming with and abiding by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
• Foster a team environment that promotes internal communication, professional development, and cross training
• Performing other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business from an accredited college or university
• 1*0+ years of accounting experience*
• Tertiary Education sector experience highly preferred
• Leadership experience required
• CPA and/or MBA desired
• T*horough knowledge of GAAP, Excel and ERP software*
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment
• Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities in a complex service environment
• Precise attention to detail and accuracy; ability to think strategically in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
