What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Employee Technology Services Team as the TechConnect Training Specialist. You will be responsible for providing subject matter leadership to help run and improve the customer centric service TechConnect strives to provide. As the Training Specialist, you will also be responsible for leading the team’s technical knowledge through training and knowledge leadership and provide end user focused training sessions to improve the end user experience and knowledge in technology. The TechConnect Training Specialist is the team’s resident knowledge expert.
How You’ll Succeed
Technical Proficiency – Ensuring a high level of technical knowledge and proficiency is documented and maintained throughout the team’s knowledge. A keen ability to communicate technical ideas in a compassionate and easy to understand way.
Partnership – Work as a regular liaison with technology partners, senior management team. Ensure internal clients are well-informed of technological issues and potential solutions to improve the end user experience. Promote and support the concepts and services of TechConnect.
Projects Delivery – Act as subject matter expert in the assessment of impacts for planned system changes and technological projects, ensuring compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy); develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, Project team and others. Investigate, analyze and provide recommendations on issues and system outages.
