What you’ll be doing :

As a member of CIBC’s Talent Acquisition team, you will deliver the best-in-class experiences to enable CIBC to become the destination of choice for top talent.

As a Talen t Acquisition Coordinator (TAC), you will be instrumental in supporting candidates (internal & external), Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs), Hiring Managers (HMs), and internal stakeholders.

Your focus will be to ensure the candidate’s experience is exceptional during the application, interview and onboarding process at CIBC.

You will support Talent Acquisition Partners by assigning job requisitions, creating offer letters, ordering background screening packages and preparing candidates for interviews.

You will work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, and other internal and external partners to help create an exceptional hiring experience.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days may be remote.

How you’ll succeed :

• Assist TAPs in scheduling interviews
• Consult with Hiring Managers on calendaravailability
• Attention to detail and making sure the invites have the correct dates / times and sent to the correct attendees
• Help manage our full recruitment cycle and ensure we meet our staff requirements
• Initiate pre-employment processes for candidates
• Complete onboarding process for new hires
• Create employee files
• Complete I-9 forms
• Assist with internal audits when deemed necessary
• Assist with ing when needed
• Records Management
• Special Projects on an adhoc basis
• Assist yearly in Campus Recruitment initiatives
• Attending career fairs, or interviews when requested
• Assist with onboarding tasks / hires
• Managing your inbox and respond to requests in a timely manner

How you’ll succeed :

• You will have a minimum of 2 years in a corporate environment as a Recrtuiment Coordinator, or Administrator preferred, not required
• You will have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• You will have knowledge of working with HR processes and procedures
• You will possess excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
• You hae an ability to work independently and in a team environment
• You are proactive and highly motivated
• You are highly organized working in a fast paced and high volume environment
• You have a passion for recruiting and a long-term interest in recruiting career
• You have experience working within an applicant tracking system, preferably Workday
