This organization was founded 25 years ago and currently operates nearly 500 surgical centers throughout the country, with backing from a multi-national healthcare services company. They are seeking an Administrator for a location in Maryland, which is a 15,000-square-foot facility with four operating suites and two treatment rooms. Their 20+ surgeons see patients in the areas of ENT, orthopedics, sports medicine, spine, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, and urology.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new Administrator will be responsible for a 15,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center with four (4) fully-equipped operating suites and two (2) treatment rooms.
The center is utilized by 22 surgeons, providing services in the areas of orthopedic surgery (total joint and spine), general surgery, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, urology, and ophthalmology.
The Administrator will oversee a team of approximately 35 clinical and administrative staff members and has three (3) direct s – the Clinical Director, the Business Office Manager, and the Materials Manager.

The Administrator is responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff of the facility while demonstrating the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial outcomes.
