SUMMARY: The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates
for agency positions, using various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates.
The Recruiter will identify opportunities to build an applicant pool through college/university
relationships & events, online channels, etc. Perform talent acquisition activities such as
reviewing resumes, facilitating phone screens, and other interviews, as needed, etc. Job
responsibilities may fall outside of regular business hours, and could include up to 15% travel.
All Agency staff are expected to focus on Quality improvement as a part of their job
responsibilities, in an effort to make the Agency a safe and healing environment for clients and
staff. This expectation includes, but is not limited to teamwork, improving service delivery,
fulfilling department goals, and other job-specific tasks that encourage excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or
related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; Two to four years of talent
recruiting experience strongly preferred, including demonstrated ability to source, recruit, and
hire talent. HR credential (SHRM preferred) is preferred, but not required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal
skills/ability to communicate professionally, including negotiation skills. Ability to effectively
present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to read and comprehend
simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use simple equations.
REASONING ABILITIES: Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have ability to use a
computer efficiently, with specific familiarity with the internet, as well as Microsoft Office Suite,
and associated collaboration tools (Teams, etc.). Proficiency navigating social media, job boards,
LinkedIn, etc. Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software and/or other
recruitment systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving
record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company, as this job could
include up to 15% travel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that
must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; climb or
balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to
stand; sit; use hands, reach with arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50
pounds. The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus, as this job requires the employee to maintain licensure and drive a motor
vehicle in the state of Ohio.
