The Role

The HR Administrator is responsible for providing accurate and timely administration and support to the wider HR team including; co-ordinating recruitment processes and staff onboarding, training administration, and being a point of contact for HR related staff queries. The role will also be involved in various HR projects. The HR Administrator role is also responsible for providing accurate and timely administration and support for the recruitment, onboarding, credentialing and exits of all medical practitioners in the facility. This includes all Lifehouse employed doctors, Visiting Medical Officers, Career Medical Officers, Junior Medical Officers, Honorary Visitors, Observers, Researchers, Students and Integrative Medicine Practitioners. This role will be accountable for ensuring that the Lifehouse vision, values and behaviours are integrated into all aspects of recruitment, onboarding and administration.

Essential Selection Criteria

Proven experience in a HR generalist role in a Healthcare setting, including exposure to recruitment, training, remuneration, performance management and credentialing of medical professionals.

• Initiative & Flexibility: Proactive and self-starting, seize opportunities and act upon them, originate action and actively influence events; Be adaptable, receptive to new ideas respond and adjust easily to changing work demands and circumstances, are not bound by old ways of doing things.
• Interpersonal skills: Ability to maintain an objective, professional relationship with all clients; Relates well to all kinds of people at various levels of seniority; Build appropriate rapport; listen, and use diplomacy and tact; Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• Persuasion and Negotiation: Listen to and assimilate information from others to identify their needs; Identify, assess and canvass a range of possible options; Bases opinion on sound research and accurate information; Ability to behave in a direct, constructive and diplomatic manner.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to confidently convey ideas and information both verbally and in writing in a clear and interesting way which meets the needs of target audiences.
• Demonstrated expertise in providing commercially focused human resource advice and service at various levels within a complex environment.
• Proven experience in supporting an HR team, including exposure to recruitment and induction, training.

Desirable Selection Criteria

• Working knowledge of HRIS systems.
