Choice Long Island Hiring for Account Receivable Manager $32 Full Time

We are currently looking for a temporary Accounts receivable Manager, Responsible for collecting payments from customers and reconciling customers

Starting Pay: $32.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee cash receipts staff and review all month end reconciliations produced by that staff
• Maintaining and ing on receivables to management
• Actively manage customer records to ensure receivables remain under 60 days aged
• Month-end reconciliation s of AR Trade accounts, cash collections accounts and credit card accounts.
• Determine credit limits for new customer and increases/decreases for existing customers
• Perform ad hoc research and analysis of information from the ERP system and research of customer balances
• Prepare information for various financial audits, tax ing and accounting related/ad-hoc projects
• Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral; capable of interacting with all levels of the organization as well as customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with very good MS Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while exhibiting capability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principals

Preferred Hiring Criteria:

• Associates degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution
• 5+years of accounting experience in a receivables or collections position Proficiency with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
