Choctaw Global Hiring for Motor Vehicle Dispatch – Choctaw Defense Services Full Time

Job Summary: Performs various functions and incidental services associated with assigning motor vehicles and drivers for the conveyance of freight and/or passengers while maintaining a positive company image.

Responsibilities:

Dispatches assignments to motor vehicle operators assigned to the Transportation Division, Vehicle Operations Flight.

• Documents/coordinates requests for UDI’s, transportation requests, cargo movements, wrecker service, special events, and Time Definite Delivery system.
• Coordinates service, delivery routes, and driver movements using various means of communication.
• Conducts special analyses, prepares s, identify problem areas, and develops viable solutions.
• Ensures full compliance with all contract provisions/IS09000 program.
• Serve as contact for transportation-related concerns of the customer, promptly responding to requests for information and service.
• Monitors fleet utilization using Air Force DAFIS, AFIS, and CAFIS and associated computer programs.
• May be assigned additional duties involving accountability for Government Furnished items.
• Respond to a wide array of operational situations as they arise and as instructed by supervisory personnel.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, which may include vehicle-cleaning chores.
• Able to perform the duties of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Timely completion and accuracy of all work.
• Working closely and harmoniously with other employees.
• Contract requirements, government regulations, safety, and health regulations, and company policies.
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements, Mandatory:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in vehicle operations and an effective communicator.
• Must be willing to work a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Team player: ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand

English to an eight-grade level for a working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warning, as per contract

requirement.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a current Texas Driver’s License.
• Must obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NACI).

Job Requirement, Preferred:

• Experience as a motor vehicle dispatch.
• Working knowledge of Computer Systems and Networks.

Work Environment:

May perform work both indoors and outdoors as needed. May be periodically exposed to inclement weather conditions or other work conditions by nature.
