Capitalizing on a unique mix of skills that blends creativity and critical thinking, as an integral member of the Choate Atlanta team, your experience in taking a business plan and translating it to the marketing medium is critical. Listening for key messages and creating executable, measurable plans and presentations will make you a valuable part of Choate Atlanta’s overall leadership team.

Your thrive on a full schedule and the ability to adeptly organize multiple deadlines. As the “go-to” marketing person for Atlanta, you work with all team members from Safety to Sales, Superintendents to Support Staff. If you don’t have the answer, you know how to find it. You take joy in maintaining an excellent rapport with all those you interact with and are known as a good listener.

Your love for delivering strategic messages will be realized in the form of proposals, press releases, social media, award submittals, content marketing, and marketing copy: assessing the analytics and metrics associated with these initiatives ensures focused success. You’ll have the opportunity to live out Choate’s core values of stewardship through the support of local philanthropic initiatives. Speaking of events, you’ll oversee the successful execution of client events, tradeshows, and jobsite events.

You thrive on supporting, mentoring, and managing other marketing staff, assessing and balancing workloads in this “working manager” role.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 10 years of experience in the AEC marketing role or similar high-volume environment.
• Strong interest in strategic planning, messaging, and market positioning.
• Forward-thinking with strong intellectual curiosity and desire to innovate.
• Excellent communicator.
• Strong direct/indirect management skills.
• Highly organized and self motivator.
• High degree of integrity and committed to furthering Choate’s values.
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite InDesign skills: basic understanding oh Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong PowerPoint skills.
• CRM experience.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics.
• Strong team collaboration and leadership skills.
• Strong eye of graphic design and aesthetic elements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• May require to travel to projects.
• May require attendance of marketing related events, such as annual meeting, tradeshows, industry events, etc.
