JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Specialist executes our talent acquisition strategy to ensure that we are staffed with the right people and the right roles across our production, distribution, and corporate functions by supporting the end-to-end candidate journey and experience: sourcing, screening and selection, offer, conversion and hire. This role is responsible for both corporate level roles and high-volume factory hourly roles and plays a vital role in attracting, evaluating, and selecting talented individuals who will contribute to the continued success of our organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years recruiting experience, with demonstrated success recruiting for a wide variety of manufacturing and warehouse roles
• Solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices
• Experience with online recruitment tools including online job boards and web-based ATS is required
• Experience sourcing candidates through various techniques including Indeed, LinkedIn, Social Media Campaigns, Internal Database Mining, etc.
• Experience sourcing/recruiting for professional level positions across a broad range of business functions
• Experience working in a corporate environment

• Strong sourcing and networking skills to attract passive candidates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with hiring managers, team members, and external partners.
• Strong interviewing and assessment skills to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations pertaining to recruitment and selection.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions while demonstrating a sound sense of urgency

• Ability to take initiative in providing new ideas to improve process efficiencies
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance, arriving on time and prepared for all shifts, meetings, and appointments

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS, AND BEHAVIORS include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates for corporate level roles, including but not limited to executive, managerial, and professional positions.
• Source, screen, and assess potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and networking events.
• Conduct thorough interviews and evaluations of candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organization.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their talent needs and develop effective job descriptions and candidate profiles.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for high volume factory hourly roles, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and making offers.
• Partner with external recruitment agencies, as needed, to support talent acquisition efforts for specialized positions.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
• Build and maintain relationships with local educational institutions, community organizations, and job placement agencies to enhance the talent pipeline for both corporate and factory positions.
• Conduct background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications for selected candidates.
• Provide regular s and updates to the Director of HR on recruitment activities, candidate pipelines, and key metrics.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through effective communication, an efficient interview process and timely interview feedback.
• Serve as a brand ambassador at various recruiting or HR events
• Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• In office attendance is an essential function of this position.

• Regular use of PC, laptop, copier, fax, and other general office equipment.
• Ability to access all areas of the facility to perform essentials functions of the position.
