Chic Geex, Inc Hiring for Senior Instructional Designer Job at Remote Full Time

Seeking: An instructional designer with recent ILT and eLearning experience. Must have a firm grasp of graphic design concepts and a winning portfolio of ILT/eLearning samples (using Storyline 360). Must have examples of recent ILT documents and Storyline 360 eLearning demonstrating interactive, engaging, and attractive training. Please provide samples with a fresh, polished look-and-feel; nothing that looks dated.

You must be self-motivated, responsible, dependable, a team player, and honest.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY if you do not have at least 2 years of experience specifically in Instructional Design with ILT and eLearning development experience.

We cannot stress enough how important it is that you include work samples/portfolio when applying for this job. Even if you have a great resume, you must include work samples as well! We recruit almost exclusively based on work samples that prove you’ve already done work similar to that for which our client is hiring.

Project: If you are hired, you will be working closely with the client to create ILT and eLearning modules (using Storyline 360). Must know how to use Word, PPT, etc., as well and have good understanding of graphic design concepts. This training is for the client’s internal use. You will need to attend regular conference calls with the client’s team members and SMEs.

Client: The client is a peer-to-peer lending company based in San Francisco. It has a fun and sharp team of managers and developers who are interested in gamification and cutting edge tech to make engaging, outside-the-box training. They are great people to work with!

Timeline: We need someone who can work full-time hours (on a freelance basis), starting the contract toward the middle to end of April. The position does provide some flexibility with the schedule as you will be working remotely; however, it does require availability during normal business hours for video meetings that may occur several times a week. The preliminary contract is 2 months. If it is a good fit, that timeline could be extended.

Requirements: Excellent writer/editor; proficient at Word, PPT, and Storyline 360; demonstrated understanding of graphic design concepts resulting in modern, refined designs; accustomed to working remotely; able to attend video conference calls during normal business hours; accustomed to using Google Drive and other file transferring tools; attention to detail; dependability; honesty.

Rate: $55-$65/hr. depending on experience.
