Purpose/Introduction
Do you thrive on solving puzzles and providing top-notch customer service? Join our Talent Acquisition team and play an integral role in building the talent pipeline for the future of CPChem. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating the critical details associated with scheduling and coordinating. You must have a keen eye on the candidate experience as you serve as a face of CPChem during the interview and onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Schedules a high-volume of interviews for candidates at four locations according to established processes, including booking travel, reserving conference rooms, sending meeting invitations, and initiating candidate expense reimbursements.
- Coordinates and serves as the primary contact for pre-employment background checks for all U.S. locations. Coordinates the medical and drug clearance process at select locations.
- Coordinates with and serves as the primary contact for local HR Assistants on completing the medical and drug clearance process. Confirms all new hire clearances with Recruiters.
- Continually looks for new ways to improve processes and documents how to make these changes reality.
- Assists the SuccessFactors IT team with testing system enhancements.
- Assists with college program duties as requested, including but not limited to:
- Support intern and early career programs with scheduling and coordination of program events
- Coordinate career fair registration and material shipments, per scheduled timelines
- Partner with vendors to select and order promotional materials for recruitment events
- Assist with reconciliation of expenses charged to cost centers
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years providing scheduling support to a team or individual
- Strong appreciation of the importance of the candidate/customer experience
- Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Ability to prepare correspondence and documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-starter who excels in a fast-paced multitasking environment
- Ability to deliver impeccable customer service using strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using an HRIS or ATS (e.g., SAP HR, SAP SuccessFactors, Taleo, Workday, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience facilitating the new-hire clearance process, including managing background checks and scheduling interviews
- Ability to analyze data using simple Excel formulas
