Chevron is accepting online applications for the Crude Supply & Trading Scheduler position through 07/13/2023 at 11:59 p.m.
Crude Supply & Trading Scheduler Manages the transport, storage, and blending of commodities across Upstream, Midstream and Downstream. Prepares transportation nominations, system balancing of physical assets and optimization of logistics. Executes blending operations. Oversees the lifecycle of trade once it has been executed including credit, risk, and inventories.
Supports major customers/clients and leads projects of medium scope and complexity under limited supervision. Detailed knowledge of most aspects of the work function.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Provide day-to-day scheduling and operations for trading teams, including activities such as blending, quality control, loss prevention and forecasting analysis.
Manage nominations for pipeline, marine, rail and/or truck carriers; monitor and execute commodity movement.
Work closely with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third parties.
Monitor pipeline/terminal operations to optimize schedules.
Analyze data and produce regular s for the trading team.
Engage with internal and external industry experts and maintain strong relationships and lines of communication.
Keep informed of and optimize operational costs.
Support optimization initiatives and best practices, including advancing digital initiatives and process improvements
Champion incident-free operations and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor´s Degree.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills – able to present your views and opinions clearly and concisely.
Team player with the ability to work well in a fast-paced diverse team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Scheduling experience.
Oil & Gas industry experience.
Relocation Options:
Relocation may be considered.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
