Chesapeake Search Partners Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Richardson, TX Full Time

Our client, a consulting Engineering firm headquartered in the Dallas area, is looking for a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying, screening, and interviewing prospective candidates for employment in entry-level and experienced technical positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be working with internal management as well as external clients to fill job requirements and support the company’s growth plan. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also perform all employee on-boarding of new hires. This position will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide full recruitment lifecycle support to the Operations, Management, and other internal business groups for permanent and contractual positions.
• Screening, interviewing, performing reference checks on prospective employees.
• Working with management to understand hiring needs and identifying candidates to fill job requirements.
• Work with search firms/placement agencies, when necessary, to determine optimal recruitment methods.
• Manage candidate engagement through entire recruiting process and close candidates with verbal offers and formal offer letters.
• Perform new hire orientations, coordinate employee on-boarding, and general Human Resource tasks.
• Attend local networking events and job fairs to create brand awareness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience recruiting professionals in the engineering, manufacturing, and/or construction industries.
• Must have experience recruiting professionals in various engineering disciplines, project/construction management, and skilled trades.
• TA Specialist should have a general understanding/knowledge of hiring practices and employment laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
