Chesapeake Search Partners [CSP] Human Resource division is a professional search and recruiting firm. We have partnered with a local company who is growing their team and in search of a TA Specialist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Directly partner with the organization’s leaders and management team to understand and grow talent pipelines and recruit for key positions
· Coordinates with the hiring manager(s) to determine the best recruiting process for a position(s)
· Collaborate with management to develop and deploy organization-wide recruiting and sourcing strategies that identify and secure a highly talented workforce and scale to support the organization
· Administer and oversee recruitment strategies to include: social media, company website, job boards, career fairs, and other relevant advertising efforts related to recruiting
· Act as the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) Officer to ensure accurate recordkeeping, timely annual reporting to AAP third-party administer and compliance.
· Develop and maintain candidate activity by applicant tracking and provide reports on employment activity.
· Establish strong relationships with external talent sources, including colleges and universities, trade schools, especially those with specialized programs.
· Responsible for providing a positive end-to-end candidate experience (from sourcing to on-boarding).
· Screen and interview applicants; continuously work to improve the selection process by implementing new tools, interview guides, assessments, interview training with the end goal of improving the overall candidate selection results
· Coach and guide the hiring manager through the recruiting process to facilitate quality hire in a timely manner
· Provide compensation recommendations based on applicants experience and qualifications.
· Extend verbal and written contingent job offers and assists with orientation of new employees.
· Develop and maintain job descriptions.
· Maintain employee referral program.
· Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
· Work with the hiring manager(s) to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
· Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· 5-7 years’ experience
· Effectively manage the workload of 10+ open positions between two (2) locations
· Critical Evaluation
· Leadership & Strategic Planning
· Organized
· Industry (or similar) Knowledge
· Recruit using a variety of outside resources (social media, job fairs, etc.)
· Intermediate IT skills with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience
Knowledge of compensation best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
