Our most important asset is our people, and we are looking for a Recruiting Assistant to bolster the club’s recruiting efforts at both locations. The perfect candidate will be empathic, a problem solver, approachable, and a team player who knows how to work with all types of people.
Day in the Life of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
You will spend your days working with the Recruiting Assistant to accomplish recruiting goals, screen candidates and coordinate interviews, and run New Hire Orientations. You will help with verifications of I9 documents as new hires start their first days at Cherokee. You work alongside the hiring managers to identify staffing needs within their departments by having in-take meetings, assisting with interviews, and having regular follow up to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts. Your research and recommend new active and passive recruiting sources and attending recruiting events. You keep the Indeed and Glassdoor pages updated with managing the Cherokee Career’s social media pages. You will champion the culture of the Club which permeates at all levels of the organization. Some evening and weekend work will be required for orientations and special events.
This position comes at a competitive salary range of $56,000 – $61,000/year based on experience. We also offer our Talent Acquisition Specialist generous benefits including:
