Full Job Description

We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as Accountant CPA or CMA. You prepare, track, prepare and report key financial information vital to our ongoing operations and success.

You accurately enter data into our secure database, analyze information trends according to departmental needs, and compile reports that senior accountants can present to decision-makers and leadership within the organization.

Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, and CPA or CMA credentials. You should also have excellent problem-solving, organizational, and math skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of senior accountants
• Accurately perform data entry tasks
• Analyze data sets for relevant patterns and financial indicators
• Compile reports on organizational finances to be used by senior leadership
• Perform internal audits of budgets and expenses
• Process weekly payroll and submit report to ADP.

Requirements and Qualifications

• bachelor’s degree or higher
• CPA – CMA licensure
• Experience within a corporate accounting setting
• Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Monthly financial statements
• Support the annual Tax audit process
• Support process automation and engineering

Skills:

• Positive attitude, attention to detail with strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, flexibility and high quality of work are critically important
• Capable of articulating written and oral communication for recommendations in a clear and logical manner
• Take ownership of work product and deliver within tight deadlines
• Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information

Education & Relevant Experience:

• 2 years of accounting, or financial analysis and reporting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Master’s in Finance or Tax helpful
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (required)
• Certifications such as CPA or CMA required
