Chemainus Marine Services Ltd. (subsidiary of Jones Marine Group Ltd.) has an immediate opening for a diesel mechanic.

Chemainus Marine is located in the town of Chemainus, BC located on Vancouver Island 33 km south of Nanaimo. The company offers union wages and has an excellent benefits package.

Duties: maintain the Jones Marine Group’s fleet of 8 tugs, 3 crew boats and several boom boats.

Qualification: Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic certification. Peference will be given to candidates with a minimum 5 years experience in the marine field.
