Checker Taxi is Looking for Dispatcher Full Time

Checker Taxi operates an accessible taxi fleet to provide service for Wheel-Trans (TTC) riders.

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 12:00 – 20:00 (8 hours)

Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Relay information between the Taxi fleet, TTC, and the riders
• Confirm and document communication in multiple platforms
• Able to transfers trips between multiple driver schedules making sure the trip is geographically correct without the driver running behind schedule
• Monitoring the operators on the road for any issues, delays or requested changes.
• Detail Oriented reporting to TTC and office management of any Occurrence report
• Comply with TTC and Checker Taxi Policy
• Must be able to work independently
• Answers phone calls from TTC and drivers.
• Minor scheduling (covering shifts)
• Excellent typing skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time mamagment skills
• Proficient in English
• Must have own vehicle
• Working knowledge of transit time in the GTA (TTC boundaries)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Every Weekend
