Château sur le lac is Looking for Laundry Attendant Full Time

About us

Chateau sur le Lac is a private long-term care facility located in Boulevar Gouin West, Ste-Genevieve.

We bring together a variety of clients, autonomous, semi-autonomous, multiple languages and religions. It represents the population inhabiting our neighboring cities. Our goal is to meet the needs of each resident so that each resident of the Chateau sur le Lac feels at home in his new environment.

Principal duties:

• Pick up and carry soiled laundry;
• Sort and fold clean laundry;
• Prepare and distribute it to resident’s rooms and linen carts;
• Make sure each floor has sufficient clean towels, gowns, bed sheets, etc., needed for the entire shifts;
• Make sure the kitchen has sufficient clean bibs, table cloths, cleaning cloths, etc., for the whole day
• Carry out laundry services offered to residents;
• Work quickly in the laundry production chain;
• Responsible for laundry products inventory;
• Apply current health and hygiene regulations;
• Ensure residents’ safety at all times (code of ethics);
• Any related tasks…

Needed skills and competencies:

• Ability to work standing for extended periods;
• Work with autonomy and initiative;
• Tolerance to stress;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
