PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To directly recruit and coordinate all recruitment efforts for Chase Plastic Services, including administrative, warehousing, sales and technical positions. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and effective decision-making capability when assisting employees, handling employee inquiries, or providing overall assistance to the Human Resources Department. Devote your full time to the business and affairs of Chase Plastic Services, Inc., and to use your best efforts to perform faithfully and efficiently the responsibilities assigned to you. Some travel and overtime is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*This is an on-site position*

• Maintain the strictest of confidentiality regarding all employee issues and information whether processing and maintaining employee personnel files or verbal and written communications.
• Lead the recruitment process, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Determining how and where job posts should be maintained for maximum candidate flow.
  • Review, screen and maintain candidate resumes for selection and retention purposes.
  • Setting up and conducting all pre-screen interviews for all positions.
    
  • Coordination of Predictive Index behavioral and cognitive assessments.
  • Arrange candidate interviews with other applicable managers in the interviewing process.
  • Coordination of travel arrangements for out of town applicants.
  • Timely updates to all resume submissions as to the status of their application.
  • Attendance at career fairs at the University level and beyond (may require occasional travel)
• Assist the HR Generalist in the onboarding process, including administering employment applications, processing background investigations and drug screenings, assembling new hire orientation booklets to include benefits and payroll documentation and the setting up of new employee files.
• Assist HR Manager in the administration of performance review process and tracking completion.
• Assist in training initiatives, including:
  • Researching appropriate training opportunities and provide enrollment assistance including travel arrangement if needed for all internal and external training.
    
  • Follow-up training initiatives by distributing, accumulating and logging employee training assessments.
  • Ensure all new hire training matrix are ready for before employment begins and are tracked until completion for ISO compliance.
• Be a second back-up for processing the Bi-weekly input of company-wide payroll. The HR Generalist is the primary processor, and the HR Manager is the first back-up and primary auditor.
• HR document scanning and employee file preservation.
• Assistance with any special projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
• Predictable and dependable attendance is required.
