We, at Charm City Optical, are looking for customer service representative to add to our growing team. Candidates with a strong background in Inside Sales, organization, medical sales are encouraged to apply as well. We are a family owned and operated practice that has been a staple in the Pikesville/Baltimore area for 20 years now. We pride ourselves on our family values and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess/or be:

• Customer service driven

• Be driven to succeed

• Be dedicated enough to study optical guidelines and basics at home and have the ability to apply that knowledge in the work setting

• The ability to multitask

SOME responsibilities may be:

• Greet patients upon entering

• Work with patient’s insurance companies to make sure their proper benefits are applied

• Dispense, fit and adjust eyewear properly

• Prepare patients records for the doctors

• Check the status of orders and notify patients when orders are ready to be picked up
• Verify insurance and apply proper billing practices
