The Role

• Continuing, Part-Time (4 days per week)
• Level 4 – $64,633 to $70,162 pro rata p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
• Wagga Wagga

As an Early Childhood Educator with Charles Sturt University, you will be responsible for providing developmentally appropriate care and education programs for the group of children within your care. You will work as a member of our cooperative team to plan, prepare, implement and evaluate, indoor and outdoor learning environments, acknowledging children’s individual needs, within the needs of the group as a whole.

To be successful you will have:

• Diploma of Community Services (Children’s Services) and
• Experience working in a Day Care or Pre-School environment
• Proven experience developing and implementing high-quality educational programs, incorporating the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and implement Education and Care Services Regulations 2011.

As part of this recruitment, Pre-employment Functional Screening is required.

The appointment is also conditional upon the successful applicant producing, satisfying and maintaining a “Working with Children Check”, in accordance with the Commission for Children and Young People Act (NSW).
