Job Summary
The Vice President of Global Talent Management will be responsible for the design and execution of a scalable enterprise-wide talent management and learning strategy and vision in partnership with the Chief People Officer and Senior Leadership Team that aligns with the company’s business strategy and talent objectives. This position is remote and open to US/Canada/EU locations. This role operates on Eastern Time Zone.
Job Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the identification of key talent funnels and develops programs to continuously assess bench strength, develop future talent, and increase workforce readiness (working closely with the TA team and business HR leaders on workforce planning)
- Measures employee engagement and partners with management and HR to strategize and implement retention and turnover resolution solutions. (Working closely with HR Analytics)
- Continually assesses the effectiveness and competitiveness of programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets – with a focus on leveraging technology to improve performance management, succession planning, people leader development etc.
- Leads the development and implements talent assessment tools and processes, including advising people leaders on how to identify and develop high-performing and high-potential talent, prepare for talent reviews, and design succession plans.
- Designs and implements strategy for career journey at CRL, collaborating with businesses on competencies and job progression, and works across the organization on associated learning and development programs and opportunities.
- Delivers or oversees the delivery of global learning programs. (LMS – and supporting training needs in businesses)
- Advises leadership on organizational health
- Ensure that all initiatives are designed to improve business performance, strengthen organizational capability and provide equitable access for all talent to grow their careers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S.) or equivalent in talent management, organizational development, organizational design or related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 15+ years related talent management or related OD experience in a global industry. Proven track record of successful implementation and integration of ALL talent management and OD processes. Experience leading and implementing large-scale global organizational transformation and change. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
- Certification: PROSCI & DiSC Certifications preferred

- Intermediate to advanced level of excel experience required and possess the ability to use analytical tools, and stay up to speed with changing customer needs and talent management product/service development
- Analyzes information to identify talent trends, patterns, gaps and insights using analytics. Ability to use data visualization tools to further business insights.
- Performs moderately complex research by gathering data from a variety of sources, which may include operational data, talent and human capital metrics, and feedback from business partners.
- Proficient in the SuccessFactors platform highly preferred or other Human Capital Solutions
- Ability to facilitate and deliver impactful programs both in a virtual and classroom environment
- Flexible, agile, and comfortable working in a fast paced and growing environment
