OUR TALENT ACQUISITION PARTNER POSITION

The primary focus for our Talent Acquisition Partner is to lead in the implementation of sourcing strategies and identification of talent profiles. Utilizing these strategies the Talent Acquisition Partner will provide full life-cycle recruiting services including but not limited to: sourcing for recruiting campaigns and individual positions; requisitions creation and candidate management/documentation within application tracking systems; candidate screening/interview services and guidance on interviewing best practices; and negotiating directly with candidates. This position will focus on recruitment for clinical positions, including RNs, LPNs, GNAs, CNAs and other management and administrative roles in the Nursing Department.

LOCATION

This position is based at Smith Kogod Residence located at 6121 Montrose Road in Rockville, Maryland.

SHIFTS & STATUS

This is a FULL TIME EXEMPT position with regular business hours and the opportunity for some remote work.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Perform strategic sourcing and research activities to identify and build the talent network.
• Leverage technology for excellent candidate relationship management to discover and sustain leads, referrals, and other potential prospects.
• Contact potential candidates, develop and document profiles and maintain contact notes within ATS system to ensure a high touch candidate experience and ensure as an employer of choice.
• Contribute to HR/recruiting process improvement, best practices documentation, and continuous client support improvement.
• Experience working with HR leadership to implement process improvements, policies, and HR programs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Critical thinker, able to identify issues and opportunities, provide solutions and reach consensus with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to partner with hiring managers, technical staff, and senior management to source and identify high-quality talent for open positions, as well as building a pool of candidates.
• Other duties as assigned in support of the mission of Charles E. Smith Life Communities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Possess an Associate’s degree in HR or Business related field.
• One (1) year experience in recruiting activities, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility.
• Possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
• Experience utilizing applicant/candidate tracking systems, and social/professional networking associations, groups, and products to build and maintain candidate relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
