An opportunity to apply your extensive recruitment expertise and organisational skills within CDU’s Talent Acquisition team.
We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace new ideas, and strive to act with courage and kindness. We’re about what we can give to the world rather than what we take, and we believe in the transformative power of education. We value diversity and our culture of belonging to make deep and abiding connections with our staff, students, First Nations peoples and the wider community. We will be Australia’s most connected university with our people at the heart of all we do. Because we believe you make CDU. That is the CDU difference.
As Talent Acquisition Consultant, you are a creative thinker and a proactive problem solver with a passion for building trusted and positive relationships to facilitate a positive experience for both internal stakeholders and candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process.
In this varied role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of internal accounts, and will assist Hiring Managers by recommending effective sourcing strategies, providing guidance around navigating the CDU recruitment process, and acting as a trusted source of advice on HR best practices, market intelligence and industry trends. An unwavering positive attitude and flexibility to adjust priorities in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment is essential, and a talent for anticipating and proactively avoiding potential issues will be invaluable to your success. Drafting advertising content and senior staff contracts will require professional writing skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Confidence in interacting with a wide range of individuals, including senior executive is an inherent requirement in this role.
To be successful, you require a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management with proven experience in a similar Talent Acquisition or Recruitment role. The ability to demonstrate advanced user capability with LinkedIn and online job boards, and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and the capacity to organise and prioritise workloads with minimal supervision is essential.
